The mission of the Bishop Sarah Frances Davis Foundation is to transform the lives of orphans, vulnerable children and women by providing funding for housing, healthcare and education.
The Foundation was incorporated in the State of Texas on October 24, 2014.
Charitable Organization Status
The Bishop Sarah Frances Davis Foundation has been designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3, nonprofit corporation. This designation qualifies us to receive government, corporate and foundation grants as well as contributions from private individuals. Our operations and programs are funded through the generosity of individuals, churches, corporations and board sponsored fundraisers. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Governance and Leadership
The Foundation is governed by a 16 member Board of Directors comprised of individuals who volunteer their time and energy to create a fiscally and managerial strong organization for the purpose of achieving the foundation’s charitable goals.
We post our audited financial statements and IRS. filings to the site as they become available. Typically, the financial statement for each year is posted the summer of the following year, while the IRS 990 is available in the fall of the following year.
